these past few days have been hectic, eventful and surprising.
let's just start with last Sunday.
last sunday - met jeanette. we planned to go shopping long ago as we havent been able to catch up ever since the dreadful attachment that i enjoyed initially and hated it at the end, while jeanette hated it initially but enjoyed it eventually. we were determined to buy something. we both wanted a white bag due to my incredible fetish for white. but there's this effect that takes place whenever we girls go shopping : when you want something and go round searching for that something that u have in mind, u always cannot find it. but when u're shopping with nothing in mind, you eventually end up with bags and bags of shopping. so you should have guessed by now that our shopping trip was pretty unfruitful. bummer. anyhow, audrey had some event going on for Republic Poly. but she went there and found out that it was a combined Poly event. and without a partner, she felt outcasted and decided to look for company. so she came to join us. initially, jeanette was overwhelmed with her over-friendliness. but after a while, she became pretty comfortable with her. we took neoprints, walked a bit searching for our white bags which amounted to nothing eventually. haa. audrey went home first as she was tired. while jeanette and i went for a drink at burger king and travelled home after that. had real fun with you dear!
monday - Daniel started summer school. which was hectic. because they had assignments due the next day and test the next day as well. so that's how summer school is like. assignments and tests everyday. yikes. but thankfully, he's taking it pretty positively. for now. hahaha. i did a little bit of shopping myself. sometimes shopping on your own can be real fun. here's a list of the stuff i bought.
1. shoes! LV look-a-like. (now i sound like a real cheapo. but whatever man.) $29.90
2. bag! small, cute, feminine one. $25.55 with discount.
3. paper rose earrings. $4. to replace the one that i forgot to take off before my shower and causing it to turn green. ...
tuesday - Met Natalie! omg. i havent seen her for so so so long. and i miss her like hell. i'm so glad that we could click so well and i was able to relate to her the things that are going on in my life. we had so much catching up to do. wanted to do a bit of shopping as well but didnt really get down to it cos we were so excited to find out about the things that have been going on in our lives. but i bought myself a mascara at fareast's watsons for $17.90. and we had dinner at subway. Through catching up i learnt more about Natalie and some other shocking news. but wont update here la. otherwise the blog will turn out to be a gossip column. lol. Natalie is so cute! i had a ball of a time with her and she's my new best girlfriend! loveee you babe! Time to find a good guy for her! who really deserves her. she took the NEL home and i was left alone on the train. but got real irritated by this guy who kept trying to look at my SMSes and kept trying to read my replies. i got irritated and looked up at him with a 'what do you want' face and he finally stopped. should have done that earlier dont u think? anyways, Daniel was at the coffee shop next to my block with a couple of his buddies. so i thought i popped by. they were pretty friendly and so engrossed in their conversation. i was trying to brush up by hokkien/teochew as well, deciphering and catching bits and pieces of their conversation which was mainly about cars and fishing. hahaha. quite funny gang. just before we parted, one of the guys asked if i was Chinese or Indian. Indian? no offense to the Indians, just that i've never expected that to come out. I've heard people say that I look like an Ang moh, a Malay, mixed.. but Indian? hahaha. his other friends said they thought i was Malay and wanted to tell Daniel to be prepared for circumcision. hahaha. jokers.
pondering about what happened during these couple of days, i cant help but feel thankful to God. for life, for family, for friends worth mentioning, for valuable experiences and lessons learnt.
